Alexis Amulets is handcrafted in Maine using Recycled precious metals: 14k & 18k Gold, Sterling Silver, & Brass. As well as ethically sourced conflict-free gemstones from around the world.  Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by Alexis. Each amulet has a meaning, story, intention and energetic behind it.

Our mission is to help honor the many different facets of an individual's life experience by creating handmade sustainable intentional amulets in the form of fine jewelry, for the conscious consumer.

About Alexis

Growing up on Peaks Island, a small island community off the coast of Maine, Alexis spent her time by the shore, crushing up shells for eye shadow, and gel from bladderwrack seaweed as skin care. She was accustomed to adorning herself with natural magical treasures. She was never too shy to sing to the sea and cast spells on the waves. She has a deep respect and understanding of the natural world's powerful effects on us. Adornments with intention are empowering and sacred. 

Once adorned you can feel the physical effect leaving your aura sparkling. 

 

When she was 18, tragedy struck. May 25, 2008, her best friend was murdered. That was a major spiritual catapult for Alexis. She spent the next 12 years searching for the meaning of life. Traveling to far off lands and immersing herself in different cultures, art, spiritual texts and learning different healing mind- body- soul- practices. She wanted answers to the big questions, Like Why are we here and what is our purpose? Having found those answers she uses alchemy, the knowledge, intentions, lessons and meanings are infused into the creation of her amulets. Creating jewelry has helped Alexis to honor her best friend Zoe and process some of her grief. Alexis knows that our shells, our bodies transform from lifetime to lifetime. The love and energy we shared with our loved ones, our soul group is eternal. It goes on forever.

The same can be said for precious Amulets. The raw material is able to change form time and again. Put through the fire, hammered down, it goes through all of these harsh stages and from that something beautiful and meaningful emerges. Transformed through alchemy.
